Some of the firms impacted by the hack are BlockFi, Circle, NYDIG, and Swan Bitcoin. Shortly, the HubSpot squad is announcing that what the cyberpunks took was user data stored in their tool. But as for inner data like passwords, the committee said that they are safe. This is apparent because the cyberpunks could not get that information. After all, HubSpot is an exterior tool.

As per the firm’s statement, it looks like the hacker conducts to manipulate stakeholders of these firms and place demands on them. The cyberpunk accessed one of the HubSpot worker accounts and used the account to reach out to his victims. Cyberpunk has reached up to 30 subjects, and the number is still increasing. They have also made it clear that several of the users of the affected firms are reporting phishing attacks. The small increase is a target or a bait to uncover their password to the assailant through an infected website. There have been other events like this on HubSpot. Apart from BlockFi, Pantera Capital also have faced a similar situation in February. With all these incidents, this hack may have happened even before. But the firm hadn’t disclosed when it occurred.
