In the midst of expanding doubt of custodial arrangements and ongoing moves up to Bitcoin Core, more Bitcoiners are beginning to run their own hubs.
The quantity of Bitcoin hubs is at an untouched high, with 11,558 reachable hubs presently dynamic, as per Bitnodes.io. Another Bitcoin network measurements tracker, coin.dance, figures the absolute number of Bitcoin hubs at 11,613, which is simply over the past high of 11,250 set one year back this month.
The Bitcoin Core programming update 0.21.0 was delivered for public download on Jan. 14 2021 and is at present the fourth most used variant of the product among hubs.
