This Week’s NFT Sales Jump 26% Higher Than the Week Prior, Bored Ape #6,588 Sells for $1.17M. Sales of non-fungible tokens (NFT) increased by 26.76% this week as NFT sales figures recorded $180.43 million in NFT trading this week compared to $142.33 million last week. While Ethereum-based NFTs took the lead this week with $79.2 million, sales of Ethereum-based NFTs fell 23.65% over the past seven days. NFT trading volume is 26% higher than last week
According to figures compiled by Cryptoslam.io, NFT sales increased by 26% this week compared to the previous week. 17 different blockchain networks received more than $180 million in NFT sales after recording $142.33 million last week. Polygon’s UniSwap V3 NFTV1 leads the week with $68.65 million in sales. This week’s NFT Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) package sold for $7.58 million after the best collection of the week. Immutaswap.io, Digidaigaku and Sorare were the top two earners with sales between $5.9 million and $7.35 million. Ethereum (ETH) recorded the highest NFT sale at $79.29 million, followed by Polygon’s NFT sale at $69.46. After Ethereum and Polygon Solana, Immutable X and Smart Chain was Binance. Flow is sixth this week with $2.02 million in sales, down 54.19% from the previous week. Over the past week, Polygon (MATIC) based NFT sales have increased by over 620%. Solana-based NFT sales increased 46.99% from last week, while Orbitrum-based NFT sales increased 142.19%. While ETH-based NFT sales dominated this week, blockchain NFT sales fell 23% this week compared to the previous week.
This week’s top five sales include three Bored Apes, one NFTiff and one Cryptopunk NFT. Bored Ape Yacht Club #6588 was the highest priced NFT sale this week, as it sold four days ago for 769.9 Ether or $1.17 million. Bored Ape Yacht Club #441 sold six days ago for 350,000 DAI and NFTiff #212 for 175 ETH or $271,000 USD. Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) has the most expensive level today at 69.95 ETH, followed by Cryptopunks at 65 ETH. Castaways – Raft was the third largest NFT platform on Sunday, September 4 at 17 Ether, while Pegz was down 14.69 ETH. Finally, Mutant Ape Yacht Club is the fifth most expensive venue at 12.75 ETH.
