China has nearly 900M mobile internet customers as of 2019, making up almost 64% of its overall population, as per the report.
The report additionally stated, in ten years, we expect the digital currency electronic payment to hit 1 billion address clients, 19 trillion RMB in annual total payment value, 1.6 trillion RMB in issuance, and nearly 15% of the overall consumption payments. Ping An Bank (PAB) and China Merchant Bank (CMB) might be among the beneficiaries from the latest digital payment system, the report said.
